Top 500 Draft Prospects Update
With less than three weeks left before the start of the 2025 MLB Draft, Baseball America presents a new update to our ranking of the top 500 draft prospects.
Our June update—which is topped by a trio of standout high school prospects in Ethan Holliday, Seth Hernandez and Eli Willits—includes features end-of-season updates to reports, BA grades and scouting grades for the top 100 players.
To coincide with today’s update, BA draft expert Carlos Collazo will be hosting a special draft chat beginning at 2 p.m. ET to answer all your questions about the new rankings and draft prospects.

Rising Prospects In The Latest BA 500
It’s getting to be crunch time in the 2025 MLB Draft cycle. As the big day draws near, a number of intriguing names are jockeying position on this year’s draft board. Highlights from the list of risers in the latest BA 500 update include:

Top 25 Transfer Portal Rankings
Last week, we launched the 2025 edition of our college baseball transfer portal rankings. Our latest update, which is headed by new Virginia outfielder AJ Gracia, increases the list of top portal players to 25 names.
