New Top 500 Draft Prospect Rankings
With the start of the 2026 draft now less than three weeks away, Baseball America presents the latest update to our ranking of the top 500 players available to teams once MLB commissioner Rob Manfred steps up to the podium on July 11.
Now in the fine-tuning stage of our rankings, we’ve attempted to capture as much late-season movement as possible by way of the latest player performances, injury news and industry feedback from across the country.

Draft Board Risers, Fallers & New Additions
While there are only a few moves to be found in the first round this late in the draft cycle, they are still worth paying attention to because of the impact top-of-the-class players bring to the table. Highlights from the latest update include:

10 Standouts From Draft Combine Day 1
The annual MLB draft combine takes place this week, and Baseball America is on the scene as more than 300 players look to boost their draft stock while evaluators come to find undervalued talent.

5 Farm Systems Trending Up In 2026
With the first half of the minor league season finishing up and our next major Top 30s and Top 100 updates coming next week, it’s a good time to take a look at which farm systems have taken a step forward.
We haven’t updated our farm system rankings since the preseason, so when we do so later this summer, there will likely be substantial changes. In the meantime, Ian Cundall takes a closer look at five up-arrow systems heading in the right direction in 2026.
