Top 400 Draft Prospects For 2025

The second in-season update of Baseball America’s 2025 MLB Draft rankings is officially here.

Our April update expands the draft rankings from 300 to 400 players, featuring new names and tweaks throughout the list based on industry feedback and player performances.

Florida State lefthander Jamie Arnold continues to top the ranking, followed by Oklahoma high school shortstop Ethan Holliday at No. 2. Overall, the class remains wide open at the top. There's little consensus among MLB teams on who is the top prospect in the class, or how the top of the board will unfold come draft day.

The SEC was once again leading conference in tournament representation in Baseball America’s latest Projected Field of 64 with 13 bids, followed by the ACC (10), Big 12 (6), Big Ten (4) and Sun Belt (3).

NC State and Alabama, which were projected No. 2 seeds last week, stepped into hosting positions while Arizona and UCLA moved behind the hosting line.
