Top 25 College Freshmen For 2025

With fall practices complete and the college season a little over a month away, it is becoming clearer which freshmen are in line to have impact roles for their respective programs.

There are still position battles to be won once practice ramps up again after the holidays and freshmen across the country will play their way into prominent roles as the season progresses, but today our initial top 25 freshmen ranking.

While the list, which is topped by Stanford’s Japanese slugger, Rintaro Sasaki, does take prospect status into account, the biggest factor is how much impact said player is projected to have in their first year on campus.

Top 500 Dynasty Rankings For 2025


Over the past month, Baseball America has published a series of dynasty positional rankings for the upcoming season based on a three-to-five-year window and a balanced variety of scoring types.

Today, we expanded on those positional primers to present our initial Top 500 dynasty baseball rankings for 2025.

Baseball America subscribers can access the full list and a downloadable file at the bottom of the rankings. We’ll dive deeper into the player list in the coming weeks, with complete breakdowns on top dynasty prospects, targets, sleepers, fades and potential breakout players.

Top MLB Prospects At Every Position Entering 2025

To get ready for the 2025 season, Baseball America presents its prospect rankings for every position.

By clicking below, you can find links to each positional ranking, as well as the top-ranked player at each position. Every player entering the season with prospect eligibility was eligible for our position rankings. Highlights include:

  • Our No. 1 overall prospect, Roman Anthony, heading up a strong list of the top 10 center fielders

  • 35 of the best up-and-coming righthander pitchers

  • AL East prospects sitting at the top of five of the nine positional groupings

2025 Fantasy Baseball FYPD Mock Draft

After presenting our top 100 first-year player draft rankings earlier this offseason, Baseball America’s best and brightest are back to conduct a full-on FYPD mock draft.

Geoff Pontes and Dylan White are joined by a slew of other BA writers for the exercise, which runs five non-snaking rounds deep for a total of 45 player picks. Here’s the draft order:
