Top 200 Draft Prospects For The Spring
The first 2026 update to Baseball America’s MLB Draft rankings is here, expanding the list to the top 200 players for what looks like one of the best draft classes in years.
UCLA shortstop Roch Cholowsky continues to lead the 2026 group as the consensus top prospect and favorite to go No. 1 overall. Texas high school shortstop Grady Emerson leads the high school class and checks in at No. 2. In another draft class, he would be a legitimate 1-1 favorite of his own thanks to an excellent hit tool and well-rounded game.

There’s been quite a bit of player movement since our initial 2026 draft board went live back in October. To help catch you up on key changes in our latest rankings, BA draft expert Carlos Collazo has compiled a rundown of risers, fallers and new additions to the list. Highlights include:
A pair of Big 12 bats added inside the top 60
A “slam dunk” top 50 candidate making a huge leap
A former top 40 name out of the top 100 entirely
