Top 100 Prospects For 2025
Plus: 15 prospects who just missed, 10 primed to rise & every player receiving votes
Baseball America’s 2025 Top 100 Prospects
Today is one of our favorite days of the year—the new Top 100 is finally here.
Taking the top spot in our initial 2025 list is none other than new Dodgers pitcher Roki Sasaki. With an 80-grade splitter and fastball that sits 96+, there’s good reason for all the hype surrounding the 23-year-old’s stateside debut.
Who else cracked our new Top 100? Click to see the full 2025 rankings and be sure to read on below for more Top 100 coverage, including who didn’t make the list, every player receiving a vote and more.
WHO DIDN’T MAKE THE LIST?
15 Prospects Who Just Missed The Top 100
Inevitably, there are far more prospects in consideration for our preseason Top 100 ranking each year than will make the list. Some end up getting very close before being left on the cutting room floor.
That being said, there are also plenty of players on the list who will graduate during the course of the season, while others will see their stock drop thanks to injuries or underperformance.
When those changes happen, these 15 near-miss prospects will be ready to enter the list to take their place.

Last year, we highlighted possible risers like White Sox lefthander Noah Schultz, Mariners shortstop Colt Emerson, Twins outfielder Emmanuel Rodriguez, Pirates righthander Bubba Chandler and Padres shortstop Leodalis De Vries. All five of those players currently rank within the top 20 of the current list.
