While the 2025 draft cycle heats up, Baseball America is already looking ahead to 2026 with our initial ranking of the top 100 MLB Draft prospects in the class.
The ranking—our first combining the top 2026 college and high school players—is headlined by a talented prep shortstop from Texas—Grady Emerson. One of the class' most pure hitters, Emerson features an exciting blend of athleticism and advanced offensive skills.

The 2025 MLB Spring Breakout series wrapped up this weekend, featuring many of the game’s top prospects.

Red-Hot Vols Headline Latest Top 25 College Rankings
After five weeks of play, top-ranked Tennessee is the last remaining undefeated college baseball team in the country.
Head coach Tony Vitello’s squad improved to 20-0 on the season after completing an impressive three-game sweep of SEC rival Florida in which Tennessee outscored the Gators 22-7.
Three teams, including preseason No. 1 Texas A&M, Mississippi State and UC Santa Barbara dropped out of the rankings altogether.
