Tennessee Is College Baseball's New No. 1
Plus: Complete week 3 top 25 rankings & 15 standout pitchers from the weekend
Updated Top 25 College Baseball Rankings
There is a new No. 1 in Baseball America’s top 25 rankings, as three weeks into Tennessee’s national title defense, the Volunteers clearly remain the team to beat.
Tony Vitello’s squad ran through North Alabama, No. 16 Oklahoma State, Rice and Arizona to improve to 11-0 and reclaim the top spot in Baseball America’s Top 25.
Ranked teams won just over 80% of their games in Week 3 with 13 programs recording perfect weeks. Former No. 1 Texas A&M went 1-3 last week and slipped all the way down to 11th in our updated rankings.

Jacob Rudner writes that, led by standouts like Gavin Kilen (seven home runs) and Liam Doyle (34 strikeouts in 14.2 innings), the Volunteers are already proving that their best will be difficult for others to match in their 2025’s title defense.
