The Most Graded MLB Rookies And Prospect Baseball Cards In 2024

With major card pulls popping up in online breaker streams all the time these days, you might be wondering: Which rookies and prospects are getting sent in for grading most often?

According to numbers provided by Gemrate.com, Elly De La Cruz was the clear leader among MLB rookies in total number of graded trading cards in the first 10 months of 2024, which is a major indicator of a player’s popularity in the baseball card sales market.

Baseball America’s Seth Mates checked in with Gemrate founder Ryan Stuczynski to get an in-depth look at which players and cards have been dominating the market this year.

Highlights include:

  • The number of graded cards for each of BA’s top 10 prospects

  • A 2022 Bowman Chrome card for Elly Da La Cruz that has been graded over 17,600 times

  • Recent PSA 10 sales prices for nearly two dozen top cards

Corner Infield and Catcher Targets, Sleepers & Fades for 2025

On the heels of the release of our top 100 corner infielders and catchers for dynasty baseball in 2025, Geoff Pontes and Dylan White go into more details about some standout names on the list.

We’ll provide some targets who will likely improve their value by next offseason, some sleepers who may or may not be rostered in your leagues but are worth taking a shot on before they increase their value substantially and some fades who might be at the peak of their value right now.

Highlights include:

  • A White Sox minor leaguer who could take over the everyday catcher role in Chicago for the next 10 years

  • A 2024 Cubs first round pick who compares favorably to Nick Kurtz & Jac Caglianone

  • A much-maligned Phillies third baseman whose age and value make him less-than-desired in the corner infield market
