With just a couple days left before the start of the 2025 international signing period and only 10 days remaining on his negotiation window, we’re getting closer to an answer on the question on everyone’s mind.
Where will Roki Sasaki sign?
Baseball America’s Ben Badler revisits exactly that in the latest update to his rundown of Sasaki’s most likely landing spots, which trims the list of top targets to just three teams. Highlights include:

Top 100 International Prospects Bonus Board
With Major League Baseball’s international signing period for the 2025 class set to open on Wednesday, Baseball America’s latest expanded international bonus board is here, lining up the players expected to sign for the top 100 bonuses in the class.
As always, note that the bonus board lists players in order of expected signing bonus, not necessarily based on talent. Per Ben Badler, the top five players listed are expected to sign for at least $3 million, with the next 10 to 12 after that inking deals of $2 million or more.
Check out the complete bonus board for a guide guide on projected contract ranges, as well as updated scouting reports and expected signing teams for all 100 players.

SASAKI SIGNING SHAKES UP THE MARKET
Roki Sasaki Chaos Has Already Begun In Advance Of International Signing Day
Speaking Roki Sasaki, Ben Badler also writes that the expected ripple effects of his unprecedented signing are already being felt on the international market.
As baseball waits out Sasaki’s decision, it could put some teams in a “worst-case scenario” in which they hold off on their signings in the hopes of landing the Japanese star, only to to see their top commits bolt elsewhere after Jan. 15 and watch as Sasaki signs with a different team anyway.
As Baseball America reported over the weekend, one prominent NL club has already lost out on a prized international free agent while waiting the Sasaki situation out.
