Jackson Merrill, James Wood Top Our 2021 Redraft
Today, we are looking back at the 2021 MLB Draft and redrafting the first 30 picks with the benefit of five years of hindsight. As always, we maintain it’s a fool’s errand to grade drafts the day of. With five years’ worth of information, however, we should be able to get a more accurate reading on the situation.
A pair of prep Padres picks top our redraft in Jackson Merrill and James Wood, but there are a number of other intriguing names we believe would go much earlier than they did at the time (and some players that would fall pretty far, too).
So, how does BA draft expert Carlos Collazo see the 2021 draft playing out if they had to do it all over again?
