Top 30 Prospect Updates For Every Team
Thanks to the MLB Draft, we have a crop of exciting new players to add to our Top 30 Prospects lists.
Our July update features every player drafted in the first 10 rounds who ranks among their team’s Top 30 Prospects, regardless of whether or not they have signed contracts yet. In recent years, almost every top 10-round pick has signed, but in the event any of these players does not sign by the deadline, we will remove them from the rankings in our next update.
You can find links to the new rankings for all 30 teams below, featuring scouting reports for the top 900 prospects in baseball:
NEW HOT SHEET
Spencer Jones Tops This Week’s Hot Sheet
Baseball America’s Hot Sheet ranks the hottest prospects from the previous week while also identifying a weekly helium player to keep tabs on.
The latest Hot Sheet is topped by Yankees outfielder Spencer Jones, who simply cannot stop hitting bombs in Triple-A. The 24-year-old slugger launched three more runs in an abbreviated schedule last week, bringing his total to 10 in 16 games with Scranton-Wilkes-Barre.
As always, we’ll be hosting our weekly Hot Sheet Show on YouTube at 3:30 p.m. ET on Monday followed by a Hot Sheet prospects chat on Tuesday at 2 p.m. ET.
STATCAST STANDOUTS
Draft Statcast Standouts For Every Team
We’re back with another special edition of Statcast Standouts this week, this time taking a look at some unheralded 2025 draftees whose numbers jump off the page.
For each team, we’ve highlighted at least two pitchers in each class—ideally drafted in the 10th round or beyond—to take a look at what makes them interesting and where they could potentially improve.
DSL ALL-STARS TO KNOW
DSL All-Star Game: Top Players & Breakout Candidates
Last year’s Dominican Summer League all-star game featured some standout names who have gone on to shoot up prospect lists, including a cameo by Jesús Made and the first (unofficial) home run by Luis Peña.
This begs the question: Who from this year’s DSL all-stars might be primed to rise? Josh Norris was on hand for this year’s game to help answer the question by compiling a rundown of standouts to keep an eye on.
