Baseball America’s annual May Top 100 update is our first full rankings adjustment each season. From early-season performances and injury updates to comprehensive industry feedback, our latest Top 100 takes stock of everything that’s happened so far in 2026. Highlights include:

Risers, Fallers & New Top 100 Additions
With more than month of regular season games in the books, we had a lot of information to work with when it came to producing the latest Top 100 update. The result was a lot of movement, including a number of high-profile prospect graduations opening up key spots near the top of the list.
From spring graduations and highest-ranked additions to slumping/injured players who have been pushed down and off the list, here’s everything to know in the latest Top 100.

Standout 2025 Draftees For All 30 Teams
While we’re focused on the 2026 MLB Draft that’s just over two months away, it’s worth taking a look at some of the standout 2025 draft performers so far this season in pro ball.
Some of the players below are performing exactly as expected given their draft stock. Others are just now showing us what they can do in their official pro debuts. Still others have already made dramatic changes from the players we expected them to be or they performed briefly in 2025.
All are notable in some form or fashion, and generally off to strong 2026 starts.

Field Of 64 Bracket Projections (May 5)
Less than three weeks from Selection Monday, Baseball America presents our latest in-season Field of 64 NCAA Tournament bracket projection.
The SEC continues to lead our latest projection with 13 total bids followed by the ACC (9), Big 12 (7), Big Ten (5), Conference USA (3), the American (2) and the Sun Belt (2).
