Mike Sirota Tops The Hot Sheet

With the calendar flipped to May, Baseball America’s Hot Sheet rolls on, ranking the 20 hottest prospects from the previous week while also identifying a weekly helium player to keep tabs on.

The latest Hot Sheet is topped by Mike Sirota, the Dodgers outfielder who is so far showing no ill effects from an injury that cut short a promising 2025 season. Last week, the 22-year-old tore up High-A, slashing .533/.682/1.467 with four homers to match his season-long home run total from a year ago in just 24 games.

New Top 25 College Baseball Rankings

With just three weeks to go before Selection Monday, the upper echelons of our college baseball Top 25 poll are holding strong.

Only three ranked teams—Oklahoma, Nebraska and Ole Miss—posted losing records in Week 12, while North Carolina, Texas A&M, Boston College and Tennessee went .500. Nebraska, Ole Miss and Tennessee dropped out of the rankings, with Oregon and Jacksonville State returning and Oklahoma State entering the Top 25 for the first time this season.

LATEST FROM ROBOSCOUT

RoboScout’s Top Fantasy Prospects At Every Level

The domestic complex leagues opened this weekend in Arizona and Florida, meaning RoboScout has even more prospect data to work with when identifying the top names to target.

While it’s far too early for meaningful takeaways with these players making their stateside debuts, we’re now about a month into the major league season and slightly less into the full-season minor league schedule, which means early statistical and Statcast trends are beginning to stabilize.
