Arizona Fall League Hot Sheet: Week 3

Baseball America has continued our weekly Hot Sheet installments into the fall by ranking the 10 hottest prospects in the Arizona Fall League each week.

While White Sox second baseman Sam Antonacci may lack the prototypical power of an AFL standout, his blend of contact, approach and speed was very much on display last week. The 22-year-old was an impossible out, as he reached base in 13 of his 17 trips to the batter’s box. The former Coastal Carolina standout enjoyed a breakout season in 2025, hitting .291/.433/409 with 48 stolen bases across 116 games.

Tennessee, LSU Battling for Top 2027 Class

While a number of top college baseball programs may have four or five top 100 players from the 2027 class already committed, Tennessee and LSU have separated themselves at the top of the class with more than double that with 11 each.

To get a better sense of how Tennessee and LSU stack up on the recruiting trail, Ben Badler compares each program’s class, going position by position and highlighting top prospect names to keep an eye on for 2027.
