Mock Draft 2.0: Updated First-Round Picks For Every Team
There’s plenty of movement in our latest MLB mock draft, as chatter over the last few weeks has largely been about the lingering uncertainty at the top of the class.
While scouts have lamented the lack of polished college hitters to pick from at the top, especially compared to a strong 2024 group, a deep high school shortstop group could benefit from that on draft day.
There’s also a new name in the 1-1 spot for the Nationals, though cases could be made for at least a half dozen other players to go first overall.

RODNEY GREEN JR. TOPS HOT SHEET
Hot Sheet: Ranking The 20 Hottest Prospects
This week’s Hot Sheet is led by 2024 Athletics fourth-rounder Rodney Green Jr., who spent the week leading up to his 22nd birthday by beating the stitches off of more than a few baseballs.
After opening the year 0-for-12, Green Jr. rebounded to swat four homers against in a series against the Great Lakes Loons, including a ninth-inning, game-tying grand slam.
As always, we’ll be hosting our weekly Hot Sheet Show on YouTube at 3:30 p.m. ET on Monday followed by a Hot Sheet prospects chat on Tuesday at 2 p.m. ET.
ANOTHER WEEK, ANOTHER NEW NO. 1

In listing the top 75 fantasy prospects, RoboScout identifies standouts, especially at the lower levels, who are separating themselves from their peers. Highlights include some of the usual suspects—think Nick Kurtz and Roman Anthony—while also picking out some lesser-known names to target.
