Ranking The 20 Hottest Prospects In Baseball Over The Previous Week

Thayron Liranzo didn’t travel far when the Dodgers traded him to the Tigers in the Jack Flaherty trade. He was playing for Great Lakes in the Midwest League and moved to West Michigan in the same league. But the trade has transformed him at the plate.

The new Tigers backstop headlines today’s Hot Sheet after a scorching week where he hit over .600 with three homers. And he’s far from the only prominent name finding another gear as we hit the stretch run of the 2024 minor league season. Today’s ranking has updates on prominent prospects in the Mariners, Pirates and Cardinals organizations, plus a check-in on A’s first-rounder Nick Kurtz and a great under-the-radar story to monitor in our helium spot.
