Tennessee Headlines Updated NCAA Top 25 Rankings

Tennessee remains No. 1 in the Baseball America College Baseball Top 25 after sweeping South Carolina to win the SEC regular-season title, its second in three years. 

The Volunteers won their final nine SEC series of the season, including a series win against co-champion Kentucky that gave them the crucial tiebreaker in the conference standings. This is Tennessee’s third straight week at No. 1.

Kentucky remains No. 2 after winning a series against Vanderbilt, while North Carolina rises to No. 3, its highest ranking since 2019. Texas A&M and Arkansas round out the top five.

Brennen Davis, Niko Kavadas Headline 10 Statcast Standouts From Last Week

A resurgent Brennen Davis headlines this week’s data dive from Eli Ben-Porat. Davis once ranked among baseball’s elite prospects before back injuries sidetracked his progress. The Cubs outfielder appears to have found his power stroke once again after a loud week with Triple-A Iowa. Davis isn’t the only player worth keeping tabs on.
