Latest Recruiting Buzz On Top 2026 Commits & Uncommitted Players

College teams have been busy building out their 2026 recruiting classes since August 1 arrived.

Among the top 150 players in the 2026 class, 54 players remain uncommitted, including eight of the top 25. This month, we saw four of the top 25 players in the class announce their commitments.

Stanford leads the way with eight commits ranked among the top 150 players, followed by Tennessee with seven and then Florida and Texas with six each. Texas, in particular, is in the midst of a dynamite month of adding impact talent on the recruiting trail.

Today, Ben Badler takes a closer look at some of the big names in the 2026 class who recently committed, other key names to watch beyond the top 150 players in that class who committed this month, some notable recent 2025 commits and round up the latest buzz on the top uncommitted players in the country for 2026.

Top Recruits, Players To Know For Every 2024 SEC Recruiting Class

The Southeastern Conference has established itself as arguably the premier conference in all of college baseball.

The SEC has won the last five National Championships—including six of the last seven—and in this year’s draft, four of the top-eight overall picks were from the SEC. The already-loaded and ultra-competitive conference somehow got even better this offseason, as the SEC welcomed both Texas and Oklahoma as new members.

There’s no secret as to how the SEC continues to dominate on the field: They’re dominating on the recruiting trail, too.

Below, you can find a breakdown of each school’s incoming recruiting class, headlined by none other than the reigning national champs. The vast majority of SEC programs put together top 25 classes, but even those who didn’t have every reason to be excited about their respective crop of freshmen.
