How Diego Pavia Ruling Could Impact College Baseball

How Diego Pavia Ruling Could Impact College Baseball | Coaches Confidential
When judge William Campbell granted an injunction to former junior college football player Diego Pavia, allowing him to pursue another year of NCAA eligibility, the scope of the decision was limited to just the Vanderbilt quarterback. However, pending a final ruling, the case stands to have a much broader impact on the future of college athletics and college baseball, in particular.
To assess the situation surrounding the Pavia decision as to how it relates to the college game, Jacob Rudner surveyed a selection of anonymous head and assistant coaches from high- and mid-major programs. Some questions asked include:
Are there positives that could come from a system in which JUCO players are afforded another four years of NCAA eligibility?
Is there a sense of a lack of direction from the NCAA?
What concerns you the most about the direction of college baseball?

Top 50 Graduated Prospects From 2024
