Rainiel Rodriguez Tops This Week’s Hot Sheet

Baseball America’s Hot Sheet ranks the 20 hottest prospects from the previous week while also identifying a weekly helium player to keep tabs on.

This week’s Hot Sheet is topped by a Cardinals catcher who is swatting home runs at an extremely impressive rate. After hitting 10 homers in 41 Dominican Summer League games a year ago, Rainiel Rodriguez already has six in just 10 Florida Complex League games this season. He ended last week with homers in four straight games.

The 2025 regular season passed in a blur and is officially in the rearview. Now, the most intense stretch of the road to Omaha is upon us.

LSU remains atop the poll for the second week in a row heading into conference tournament week after taking two of three games against South Carolina.

West Virginia, NC State and Louisville dropped from the rankings after the final week of the regular season and were replaced by Georgia Tech, Kansas and Northeastern.
