BA’s Latest College World Series Prediction (May 23)

Baseball America is back with a brand new College World Series projection featuring four teams that held onto their spots and four newcomers replacing Auburn, Coastal Carolina, Oregon State and Texas.

We’ve also included a list of the opponents BA has projected into each regional and potential super regional that our Eight for Omaha selections would need to get through en route to the College World Series.

Updated Field Of 64 Projections (May 23)

Conference tournaments are underway across the country, meaning the NCAA Tournament bracket picture is getting clearer by the day. To that end, Baseball America is presenting daily updates to our Field of 64 projections.

In today’s update, the SEC continues to lead the nation with 13 projected bids, followed by the ACC with 10 bids. The Big 12 (eight), Big Ten (three) and Sun Belt (three) also received three or more bids. The Big East and the Southland received two bids in the latest projection, including their automatic qualifiers.
