At long last, the MLB Draft is almost here. To get you ready, Baseball America presents our final ranking of the top 500 draft prospects in the 2025 class.
Our pre-draft update is topped by high school shortstop Ethan Holliday, who has a strong case to go No. 1 overall when the Nationals go on the clock Sunday. Check out the complete rankings below for full reports on all 500 players, as well as BA grades and tool grades for the top 200 prospects.

Regular BA readers will know we’ve spent many long months dissecting the top 2025 draft prospects. But what about some names who aren’t likely to pop up on the ticker until much later in the draft?
