Jac Caglianone Tops This Week’s Hot Sheet

Baseball America’s Hot Sheet ranks the 20 hottest prospects from the previous week while also identifying a weekly helium player to keep tabs on.

This week’s Hot Sheet is led by Royals top prospect Jac Caglianone, the big-time slugger KC fans hope might help solve the team’s offensive woes sooner rather than later. Freshly called up to Triple-A, Caglianone had more home runs (five) than strikeouts (four) last week, logging a 1.280 OPS en route to fanning the flames around a potential summer promotion to the big leagues.

Note that, because of the Memorial Day holiday, we’ll be be hosting our Hot Sheet Show on YouTube at 3:30 p.m. ET on Tuesday this week in conjunction with our usual Tuesday Hot Sheet prospects chat at 2 p.m. ET.
