Padres Top Prospect Ethan Salas, 2025 Draft Prospect Tre Phelps Join The Hot Sheet Show
We’ve got a special Hot Sheet Show lined up this week, with Padres top prospect Ethan Salas set to join from his temporary home out in the desert while starring in the Arizona Fall League.
Salas, who came in at No. 17 in Baseball America’s most recent Top 100 update, is one of the premier backstop prospects in the game and the second-youngest player out in the AFL this year.
Also joining the show this week is college outfielder Tre Phelps. Ranked as a top 50 prospect in the 2025 draft class, Phelps hit .353 with 12 home runs in 42 games for Georgia as a freshman this past season.

Underrated Pitching Prospects To Target According To RoboScout
Last week, the all-knowing fantasy baseball guru maven known as RoboScout revealed a slew of underrated hitting prospects that dynasty managers should be targeting before the rest of the scouting world catches on.
Today, RoboScout was at it again, this time highlighting minor league arms being overlooked by traditional prospect rankings.
That is to say, in the words of RoboScout creator Dylan White, “instances in which a pitcher’s surface stats in 2024 or underlying Stuff+ from the model portend potential future success that exceeds the expectations suggested by the industry’s perception of the pitcher.”

Popular MLB ‘Debut Patch’ Chase Returns In 2024 Topps Chrome Update
There’s more exciting news on the horizon for baseball card collectors, as the 2024 Topps Chrome Update Series is set to begin pre-orders at noon on Thursday, October 17.
Included in this release is the return of the Rookie Debut Patch series of cards, which feature game-worn patches signifying the MLB debuts of a number of top newcomers, including 2024 National League Rookie of the Year candidates Jackson Merrill, Paul Skenes and Jackson Chourio, young Reds star Elly De La Cruz, Japanese pitching stars Shota Imanaga and Yoshinobu Yamamoto and American League rookie standout Colton Cowser and the box art representative himself, Jackson Holliday.
