On Monday, the 2026 baseball transfer portal opened, meaning hundreds and hundreds of players across the country will begin entering their name and looking to play elsewhere next season. And with the final stretch of first-round NCAA Tournament games are also now getting underway, we’re just hours away from knowing all 16 teams headed to super regionals. Here’s everything to know:

Ryan Sloan Tops The Latest Hot Sheet
Baseball America’s Hot Sheet ranks the hottest prospects from the previous week while also identifying a weekly helium player to keep tabs on.
This week’s Hot Sheet is topped by Ryan Sloan, who, after roughly a month to get used to his new surroundings, has turned the tables on the Texas League. His latest turn was a masterpiece, featuring 11 strikeouts over six perfect innings. In May, the 20-year-old allowed nine earned runs over 23 innings while racking up 32 strikeouts and issuing just two walks.
