Top 100 Draft Prospects For 2027
The dust has barely settled on the 2026 draft, but we’re already forging ahead with the debut of our first ranking of the Top 100 players in the class of 2027.
Our new 2027 board is topped by California high schooler Dylan Seward, an explosive switch-hitting shortstop with top-of-the-scale speed, advanced all-around tools and the upside to be an early first-round pick next summer.

With the Aug. 3 trade deadline approaching, contending teams will have to make a call whether they can go into their system to call up a prospect to potentially boost their major league roster or if they need to make external additions.

ABS COMING TO NCAA ⚾️
ABS Challenge System Approved By NCAA
Get ready for ABS challenges in regular season college baseball games beginning next year.
The NCAA baseball rules subcommittee on Wednesday approved the use of ABS challenges during regular-season games, sources told Baseball America. The proposal still requires approval from the NCAA baseball oversight committee, which is expected to be granted.
