Best MiLB Fastballs Per Stuff+ In 2025
As the concept of measuring pitch quality has become an increasingly key component in pitcher evaluation, Stuff+ models have grown in popularity. Taking into account factors like velocity, vertical movement, horizontal movement, extension and release height, Baseball America’s own propriety Stuff+ formula has helped drive our pitch grades and identify under-the-radar talent.
With that in mind, Geoff Pontes is compiling rankings of the highest-scoring pitch types in the minor leagues for 2025, beginning with the 20 best four- and two-seam fastballs.
