When it comes to underrated prospects, Baseball America is always in search of players who either show strong underlying traits or are undervalued by traditional industry consensus.

2026 MLB Draft Order & Lottery Odds
With the 2025 MLB regular season complete, we have a clearer picture of the lottery odds for the 2026 draft.
Since 2023, the MLB Draft has been determined by a lottery that includes each of the 18 teams that didn’t make the postseason. This year, the White Sox are positioned with the best odds to get the No. 1 overall pick.
With this year’s lottery draw set for the winter meetings in December, BA draft expert Carlos Collazo has compiled odds for the 18 non-postseason teams.
