While the 2025 recruiting class is the next one set to arrive on campus after the dust settles from the MLB Draft this summer, college baseball’s powerhouse programs have already built out the bulk of their 2026 groups.
Today, Baseball America’s Ben Badler ranks the most highly-touted recruiting classes for 2026. Highlights from his top 10 include:

Top 500 Dynasty Rankings Update For March
Baseball America’s latest Top 500 dynasty rankings update is here.
Geoff Pontes and Dylan White’s updated rankings are based on a three-to-five-year player window and take into account spring training positional battles, trending prospects and injuries to big-time MLB names.

One of the main storylines heading into the 2026 MLB Draft cycle figures to be the battle to be the first college pitcher off the board.

What To Expect From Top 2024 Draft Picks This Season
Seven months after being drafted, the 2024 draft class is about to start their first full pro seasons.
Many draftees made their debuts last summer, with standouts like Nick Kurtz and Cam Smith already making a name for themselves. Some top pitchers, like Chase Burns and Hagen Smith, have yet to debut while still others, such as Charlie Condon, scuffled a bit in their first go-round and are looking to rebound.
Carlos Collazo runs through each of last year’s first-rounders to gauge expectations for the upcoming season.
