Presenting Our First Full Mock Draft For 2025
With the MLB Draft lottery in the books and the Nationals set atop next year’s order, it’s time for a time-honored tradition: the first full mock draft of the season!
This is our third post-lottery mock draft exercise. In 2023, we successfully identified 20 players who went in the first 30 picks, and in 2024 we identified 15 players.
A mock draft this far out is much more useful in identifying top-of-the-class talents than any team/player connections, and we’re hopeful that the 2025 group will have a higher hit rate thanks to a stronger high school hitting demographic at the top of the class.

Happy Rule 5 draft day, everyone!
The draft officially gets underway at 2 p.m. and will be streamed online at MLB.com for fans at 2 p.m. ET.
