Ranking 2024 MLB Draftees For Fantasy

The road to fantasy draft season for 2025 is officially underway.

Today, Baseball America released its first official 2025 FYPD rankings highlighting the top 50 players available to dynasty managers in first-year player drafts.

Compiled by fantasy wizards Geoff Pontes and Dylan White, our FYPD list is designed to rank players based on long-term value to dynasty managers. This is our first pass through this year’s class, which means you can expect more updates in the future. We’ll expand the list in January to include additional prospects and international signings.

In the meantime, highlights for this update include:

• Top billing for an up-and-coming Aussie

• Some less-than-stellar showings by college hitters

• A neck-and-neck race for top arm

ROOKIE RANKINGS TAKING SHAPE

Paul Skenes, Colton Cowser Favorites To Win NL, AL ROY Awards

With just three full weeks of games remaining in the 2024 season, the Rookie of the Year races are taking shape.

In the National League, a quartet of rookie standouts headlined by the flame-throwing Paul Skenes is leading the way heading into the September stretch run. Over in the American League, Orioles rookie Colton Cowser looks to nab the coveted award (and earn his team a PPI draft pick in the process).
