20 Prospects Who Dominated In April

At the end of each month, BA prospect expert Geoff Pontes will be digging into player data to highlight 10 hitters and 10 pitchers whose performances stood out above the rest.

In April, we had a number of higher-profile prospects like Seth Hernandez and Caleb Bonemer put their best foot forward. But we were also impressed by some more up-and-coming names who could be en route for the Top 100 such as the Nationals’ Ronny Cruz and Red Sox righthander Anthony Eyanson.

Complex League Prospects To Watch In Florida & Arizona

On May 2, the complex leagues in Arizona and Florida will officially begin games after weeks of extended spring training.

While the ACL and FCL feature some of the sport’s most faraway prospects, they also house plenty of intriguing names just beginning their paths to the big leagues. Eventual Top 100 Prospects featured last year’s previews include Rainiel Rodriguez and Jhonny Level, plus a number of other up-arrow players.

Baseball America is back with its annual “Eight for Omaha” series, a weekly College World Series field projection based on the teams we perceived to be the most likely to advance to the NCAA Tournament’s final stage based on our latest Field of 64 bracket.

We’ve also included a list of the opponents BA has projected into each regional and potential super regional that our Eight for Omaha selections would need to get through en route to the College World Series.
