12 Breakout Prospects In The 2026 International Signing Class
On the eve of international signing day, there are just over 50 players who will sign for at least $1 million once the 2026 period opens on Jan. 15.
However, only a small segment of the nearly 1,000 players who will sign are able to command million-dollar deals. That means future Top 100 Prospects like Franklin Arias, Josue De Paula, Edward Florentino and Rainiel Rodriguez can be found outside the upper echelons of the top 100 bonus board.
With that in mind, BA international expert Ben Badler has compiled a list of 12 under-the-radar prospects who won’t top six figures but still show signs of being breakout names to watch.

In what has a become a regular exercise for BA draft expert Carlos Collazo in recent years, we’ve taken a closer look at advanced batted-ball data for the top college hitters in the 2026 MLB Draft class.
By examining contact rates, 90th percentile exit velocity and chase rates, Carlos is able to pinpoint a number of key standouts from this year’s college ranks, including several Player of the Year candidates and one Virginia transfer who might have “the most offensive upside in this class.”
